Why an award for Marketplace Trust?
This program was established to honour outstanding businesses that promote trust in our marketplace and to acknowledge those companies who support the mission of the Better Business Bureau, which is to be the leader in advancing marketplace trust.
In this spirit, the Better Business Bureau hosts an annual awards gala to publicly recognize businesses that maintain a solid commitment to demonstrating ethical business practices. The Torch Award is designed to promote not only the importance of trustworthy business practices through integrity and performance, but also the willingness and efforts made by outstanding businesses to ensure that our marketplace remains fair and honourable.
